The Developers

Béltico Empreendimentos Turisticos S.A. ("Béltico Group") is a Portuguese company incorporated in 1964 with a fully paid up share capital of 15 million Euros.

The Béltico Group is the developer and owner of the Praia D'El Rey Golf and Beach Resort, a 600 acre site in the County of Óbidos. Hotel da Praia S.A., a company with a paid up share capital of 5 million Euros and part of the Béltico Group, is the owner and developer of the five star Marriott Hotel at Praia D'El Rey. Béltico Group also own the golf course, tennis centre, football pitch, clubhouse restaurant, and all onsite facilities within the resort.

As well as being involved in the development and sale of the Real Estate Programme which was initiated in 1996, the Béltico Group has its own construction, maintenance, resort services and rentals companies.

On an international level, the Béltico Group is also involved in resort and commercial development, hotel construction, golf course construction and management as well as real estate promotion in the UK, South America and the Far East.
