This past April, the Praia D'El Rey golf course became the first in the Silver Coast region to be certified by ISO 14 001:2004, an internationally recognized environmental certification which helps organizations minimize their negative impact on the environment and helps them comply with laws and regulations.

Golfbéltico manages and maintains the golf course, using Praia D’El Rey’s new state-of-the-art golf maintenance facility, near the 5th fairway.  This enables the proper separation, disposal and recycling of all the residues and waste materials from the course, making it one of the most forward-thinking and environmentally-aware golf courses in Portugal.

Our new environmental management system minimizes the resort’s use of water, focuses on the use of organic fertilizers and protects the 54 endemic species of flora found on the course. We have also installed the Rainbird Nimbus irrigation system.

Praia D’El Rey is launching their new Wi-Fi internet service and home security system for all home owners on the resort. Find out more about these services by contacting the IT department.
 

As we look forward to a busy summer in the sales office, construction continues on The Beachfront and the Beach Residences, with everything on track for them to be finished by Dec 2011. Shortly thereafter Praia D’El Rey will see the opening of the new open air plaza, shops and restaurants in this part of the resort.

Eighteen of the Beachfront’s 29 contemporary villas and townhouses are  now sold, with only 11 still available, at prices starting from Euros 683,650 for a 3-bedroom townhouse. As the name suggests, these properties are located literally on the beach, making them a unique investment and lifestyle opportunity.

Overlooking the third fairway of Praia D'El Rey's award-winning course and due for completion towards the year end of 2011, the 12 four-bedroom villas of Vila do Golfe phase III are now under construction. Ten of these luxurious villas, all of which have private pools, have already been sold.
