Conscious that the future of golf course management reflects an increasing preoccupation across the globe with the environment, Golfbéltico S.A recognizes the need to manage golf courses not merely as a sports' facility, but also responsibly in terms of the course's natural flora and fauna, while minimising pollution.

As a result, Golfbéltico S.A is committed to a policy of continuous improvement, linking the golf operation and the surrounding environment, using the following actions:

• We inform and assist our clients, suppliers, staff and all other interested parties so that they may carry out their activities with Golfbéltico S.A in an environmentally friendly manner, with particular attention being paid to the proper management of residual waste and natural resources.

• We promote the sustainable development of existing endemic species at Praia D' El Rey, through informative campaigns aimed at our clients, suppliers, staff and all other interested parties. In this way we all get a better understanding  of the importance of preserving the course's flora and fauna, thereby contributing to  the well-being of society, as well as implementing a regeneration programme around the golf course.

• We strive to guarantee that our activity fulfils all applicable legal and other environmental requirements.

• We maintain open and active cooperation with all official entities, clients, suppliers, staff and any other entity interested in our operation.

To achieve the desired environmental performance, Golfbéltico S.A has introduced an environmental management system into its management procedures.
